What I dread about race day: Getting up so early for early morning races

What I always wanted to be when I grew up: A professional triathlete

If I was a cartoon character I would be: Dash from The Incredibles b/c I don’t think I’d have a problem winning every race I compete in

If I could have lunch with anyone it would be: The Founding Fathers of the greatest country in the world - United States of America.

My hero is: My Dad. He is my best friend and was my best man in my wedding 7 years ago.

Favorite food: Deep Dish Pizza - Supreme

Strangest thing I've ever eaten: I'm not a big risk taker when it comes to trying new foods, it wasn't until I met my wife that I started eating salads.

If I won the lottery: I would be a Philanthropist and give most of it away to people in need.  I would keep enough for my family that we would by financially secure.

Funniest incident in my life: When I was filming a commercial last year with Peyton Manning on the General Mills campus in Minneapolis for the new Wheaties FUEL cereal. I overheard one of the office workers who were behind the ropes when we were shooting the commercial, say "Who is the cycling guy?" Another person responded, "I'm not sure, but I think it's Lance Armstrong."

Five things I would need to survive, if left alone on a deserted island: Unlimited water, never ending Wheaties FUEL bars (Peanut Butter), Mountain Dew, Oreo Cookies, and a cell phone with unlimited batter life.

My next vacation will be: Southern California with my wife and two boys (Davis, 3, Hudson, 2 months)
