Team Now – Women's Pro – Cycling Team

The NOW team was founded in 2011 by Phil Keoghan, host of the seven-time Emmy Award winning CBS reality series “The Amazing Race”, and founder of No Opportunity Wasted (NOW).  With a mission to further the awareness and to deepen understanding about Multiple Sclerosis, the team will compete nationally at the pro level as well as join many of the National MS Society charitable Bike rides across the country.  At these rides they will team up with honorary team members on tandems who are living with MS. The goal is to show the world that MS does not define those living with the disease.

The team is directed by Kurt Stockton, the 1990 US Professional Road Champion. Team roster includes current US National Road Champion & Olympic long team member Robin Farina; Anne Samplonius winner of stages at Tulsa Tough, the Cascade Classic and the Tour of Elk Grove; 2011 Junior double-national champion Addy Albershardt; Alison Powers former US National Time Trail Champion, 2010 overall winner Joe Martin Stage Race with stage wins at the Cascade Classic, Sea Otter and Tour of Gila; Former Irish National Road and Time Trail Champion Olivia Dillon; Christina Gokey-Smith, 2011 overall winner of Tulsa Tough; Devon Gorry, Central Coast circuit winner; Elite double National 2011 Track Champion (Omnium and Points Race) Beth Newell and Ashley James former Collegiate National Champion.
