Skyler Trujillo – Jr. Cyclocross and mountain bike racer
Skyler Trujillo grew up on the bike and started competing in BMX before his 10th birthday. By the age of 12 he entered his first cyclocross race and fell in love with the sport. With many local wins, Trujillo first went to Cyclocross Nationals in 2008, where he raced himself onto the podium with a second place finish in the Juniors Mixed category. Returning in 2009 and racing on his Rolf Prima Cross wheels, Trujillo earned a podium spot again with a third place finish in the Juniors 17-18 category. Due to that and other strong results, Trujillo earned a spot on the US Juniors team for the Worlds Championships held in the Czech Republic this coming January. In preparation Trujillo will be attending the Euro Cross Camp held in Brussels, Belgium.
