Rolf Prima Signs Ofoto-Lombardi Sports Pro Cycling Team
EUGENE, OR - The San Francisco based professional cycling team Ofoto-Lombardi Sports, will race exclusively on Rolf Prima Vigor wheels for the 2003 race season.
"We have been riding Rolf wheels since the early days and love them. We're really excited about our relationship with Rolf Prima and the opportunity to race the fastest wheels and shave substantial weight off our bikes," said John Durso, Ofoto-Lombardi Sports' team director.
Following a successful first year of professional status, the Ofoto-Lombardi Sports Cycling Team continues into 2003 as a UCI Tier III professional team. The Team's focus will again be on the US road racing scene, with specific emphasis on the US Pro Cycling Tour, the National Racing Calendar events, and the newly announced UCI-Sanctioned Tour de Georgia.
