Hunter Kemper and Jarrod Shoemaker - top five at Walt Disney World Half Marathon
Dressed for the cold, athletes from all over the world joined forces for the annual Walt Disney World Half Marathon this Saturday. More than 22,000 participants turned out for the chilly morning run that was plagued with rain, sleet and even the occasional snow flurry. Keeping spirits high, the 13.1-mile course featured fireworks, music and appearances from Disney characters along the route.
Racing in support of the A-T Children’s project, Rolf Prima's athlete Hunter Kemper was among the thousands that braved the weather for the half marathon. Finishing only two minutes behind the winner, Kemper took 4th overall for the day. Not far behind Kemper’s heels, Jarrod Shoemaker took 5th, putting two Rolf Prima athletes in the top five.
