Rolf Prima sweeps the podium at the Oregon Road Race Championships

Held in Trout Lake, Washington the Oregon Road Race Championships proved to be a battle for all involved. Hot and humid conditions combined with strong winds caused 40 percent of the racers to abandon the course before the finish.

Sponsored team Rubicon Orbea quickly set out to dominate the Pro, 1, 2 field. Quinn Keogh escaped from the field about 12-miles into the 92-mile race and was quickly joined by teammates Mike Northey and Roman van Uden. The group grew to seven as they started up the first climb in the second lap. The group's lead grew to more than two minutes as they made the final right turn to head into the finish. Working together the Rubicon-Orbea trio pulled away in the difficult headwind to sweep the podium and take a 1, 2, 3 win.

Catch the Rubicon-Orbea Team in Portland, Oregon this Friday at the Portland Twilight Crit, where they will compete on the team's home turf.
