Rubicon-Orbea dominates the 2010 Portland Twilight Crit

Finishing their season strongly, the Rubicon-Orbea team took the top four spots at the 9th annual Portland Twilight Crit this past Friday night. Riders battled it out in the North Park blocks of Portland for 60-minutes in the hot weather, reaching well into the mid 90's.

Over 15,000 spectators lined the streets, watching as multiple attacks were made and shut down by the Rubicon-Orbea team. With 10-laps to go Roman Van Uden made a solo attack that was shortly followed by teammates, Mike Northey, Ben Chaddock, Quinn Keogh and Aaron Tuckerman. The Rubicon-Orbea train quickly showed they were in charge of the race. Coming into the final strait away, the team set themselves up perfectly as Van Uden took the win with teammates Ben Chaddock, Mike Northey and Quinn Keogh finishing out the podium.

"Tonight was just a huge team effort, we all worked so well together. Everyone was just attacking and following moves. And so it was just a great team race. I can't thank them enough." Roman Van Uden, Rubicon-Orbea Team.
